Chris Wiken, and Acting Plan Director Dustin Wolff. STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE: Secretary reported notice was given May 11, 1999, in accordance with the Open Meeting Laws. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE APRIL 22,1999 MEETING. Mike Brandt made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Henry Schneiker seconded. Upon voice vote, motion carried. Henry Schneiker administered an oath to Jody and Steve Pollack. Mr. Pollack explained this house was originally built 7.5' off of west lot line. The house is smaller than other homes in this area. They want to install a new roof and new siding to improve the looks of the residence and better the appearance of the subdivision. They wish to remove the existing garage and build a detached garage. Dustin Wolff stated the house is substandard in width and the structure is under square footage. The variance would conform with variances previously granted in area. The structure would become legal structure. Building was built prior to zoning codes. City would not object to granting this variance. DELIBERATION: Henry Schneiker made a motion to approve the variance as submitted. David Conley seconded. Upon roll call vote, motion carried 5-0.
