MINUTES OF BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING HELD ON February 25, 1988.
Chairman Gerald Fohr called the meeting to order at 7:55 P.M.
PRESENT: - Chairman Gerald Fohr, Linda Koester and Zoning Officer
Gerald Lee
ABSENT: - Thomas Berken, Vice Chairman Nievinski, Vincent
Caporali, Lloyd Erno, Peter Passick
MINUTES: Mrs. Koester moved to approve the minutes of January 28,
1988. Chairman Fohr seconded and the motion carried.
APPEAL 3-88 - A. F. WERTH JR. Mr. Werth appeared before
the Board to request a set ac variance to construct a wood
deck on the front of his house located at W176 S6956 Lake
Street. He indicated that when he purchased the house there was
an existing cement slab and that he had constructed a 8' X 10'
wooden deck over the slab. Zoning Officer Lee explained that the
variance requested was decided upon by taking the average of the
existing house and the house within 300' which left a 54' setback
requirement and required a variance of 12' in setback. There
were no objections from the neighbors.
The Board remained in open session.
APPEAL 3-88 - Mr. Fohr moved to amend and approve the
appeal to grant a 12' setback variance. The hardship is the
location of the house on the lot. Mrs. Koester seconded and the
motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT: Chairman Fohr moved to adjourn at 8:15 P.M. ;Mrs.
Koester seconded and the motion carried.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 62.23
(3) 6. that a public hearing will be held at the Muskego City
Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue, at 7:30 P.M., Thursday February
25, 1988 to consider the following appeals:

NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Appeals of the City of
Muskego will convene, upon passage of the proper motion, into
closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (a) of the State
Statutes for the purpose of deliberating concerning cases which
were the subject of a quasi-judicial hearing; said cases being
the above listed appeals
The Board of Appeals will then reconvene into open session.
Detailed descriptions are available for public inspection at the
City Clerk's office. All interested parties will be given an
opportunity to be heard.
