MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 29, 2000
Mayor De Angelis called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. Also present were Aldermen
Slocomb, Chiaverotti, Le Doux, Patterson, Sanders, Salentine and Wichgers, Finance
Director Gunderson. The Finance Director noted the meeting was noticed in
accordance with the Open Meeting law.
Ald. Chiaverotti moved to approve minutes of meeting held June 1, 2000. Ald.
Salentine seconded; motion carried.
PERSONAL APPEARANCE
Mr. Dave Anderson of Ehlers and Associates, the City’s financial consultant, was
present to conduct the first in a series of workshops on preparing a five-year financial
management plan. Mr. Anderson outlined the planning process and reviewed key
indicators of where the City of Muskego has been financially and where they currently
are along with comparisons of these key financial indicators to comparable rated
communities. Mr. Anderson also reviewed the City’s equalized valuation growth and
projections, debt payment schedules, the history of unreserved fund balances, revenue
vs. Expenditures, TIF District status and performance. He also reviewed the status of
the Water and Sewer Utilities. The Committee discussed their feelings regarding
capital and debt management policies and agreed to schedule the second workshop for

Ald. Chiaverotti moved to adjourn at 9:00 PM. Ald. Sanders seconded, motion carried.
