COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE - MINUTES - 3/25/1996COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 25, 1996 The meeting was called to order by Mayor De Angelis at 7:05 P.M. Also present were Aldermen D'Acquisto, Misko (arr.9:15 P.M.), Patterson, Rasmussen, Salentine, Sanders and Suhr and City Clerk Marenda. The Clerk noted the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. Ald. Patterson moved for approval of minutes of meeting held February 19, 1996. Ald. Salentine seconded, motion carried. Mayor De Angelis reviewed a proposed budget timetable based on five Thursday Committee of the Whole meetingsin September and October. Because of a lack of meeting nights, the Mayor meeting. The previous discussions on switching committee suggested the possibility of a daytime Capital Budget Committee meetings from Thursday to Monday nights continued. After pros and cons were identified, Ald. Rasmussen moved to approve scheduling meetings on Mondays instead of Thursdays. Ald. Suhr seconded. Motion failed 3-3 with Ald. Patterson, Rasmussen and Suhr voting "yes" and D'Acquisto, Salentine and Sanders voting "no". Another vote will be taken at the next Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for April 22nd after the 3rd District alderman takes office. The schedule for the budget process wlll be dependent on the decision, and will be prepared after the April 22nd meeting. City of Muskego Goals were discussed.
