CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Alderpersons Wolfe, Hammel, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki and Madden. Also
present: City Attorney Warchol, Finance and Administration Director Mueller, Finance and
Administration Assistant Mustapich, Public Works & Development Director Kroeger, DPW
Interim Superintendent Heinrich, DPW Foreman Beilfuss, Recreation Manager Dunn, Utility
Supervisor Kloskowski, Deputy Clerk Blenski and Assistant Deputy Clerk Chavie. Absent:
Alderperson Borgman.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
The Assistant Deputy Clerk stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open
meeting law.

Alderperson Kubacki made a motion to approve. Alderperson Wolfe seconded;

Review Proposed Salary Range Pay Scales per Accepted Internal Salary Study Process
Director Mueller distributed several documents that were generated as a result of the internal
2018 Salary Study. There are still some employees whose current salary is based on a general
step scale (Start/12-Month/24-Month/36-Month). The Department Heads agreed that all
employees should be on the same scale with increases based on merit. It is proposed that the
general step scale in place for some staff would be eliminated.
Mayor Chiaverotti noted that the Administrative Assistant position in the Public Works and
Development Department/Planning Division was recently vacated; the individual left to take an
employment opportunity in the private sector. Director Kroeger and Planner Trzebiatowski have
reviewed the existing position and propose to revise it to be an Associate Planner/Administrative
Assistant.
Director Mueller acknowledged that there is a large amount of data to review. She requested
that any questions be directed to her prior to the next meeting.
