Alderperson Kapusta seconded; motion carried. 5 August 28, 2018 Review Proposed Salary Range Pay Scales per Accepted Internal Salary Study Process Director Mueller distributed several documents that were generated as a result of the internal 2018 Salary Study. There are still some employees whose current salary is based on a general step scale (Start/12-Month/24-Month/36-Month). The Department Heads agreed that all employees should be on the same scale with increases based on merit. It is proposed that the general step scale in place for some staff would be eliminated. Mayor Chiaverotti noted that the Administrative Assistant position in the Public Works and Development Department/Planning Division was recently vacated; the individual left to take an employment opportunity in the private sector. Director Kroeger and Planner Trzebiatowski have reviewed the existing position and propose to revise it to be an Associate Planner/Administrative Assistant. Director Mueller acknowledged that there is a large amount of data to review. She requested that any questions be directed to her prior to the next meeting.
