CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:04 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL
Present; Aldermen Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Engelhardt, Kubacki, Madden, Kapusta and
Mayor Chiaverotti. Also present; Director Mueller and Director Muenkel.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Director Mueller stated the meeting was properly noticed.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - August 20, 2015 and August 25, 2015
Alderman Borgman motioned to approve August 20, 2015 and August 25, 2015 minutes.
Alderman Kubacki seconded, motion passed 7 in favor.
NEW BUSINESS
Capital Projects Fund Budgets discussion continued
1.) Facilities Plan
2.) Community Development (Parks)
3.) TCVFD
Facility Plan
John Sabinash, Zimmerman Architectural initiated discussion regarding revised facilities
proposal. Key points that were reviewed:
a. Inflation - More efficient plan offsets inflation and economics of scale.
b. Savings/Remodel VS New
c. Building/Space/Design
d. Timing
e. Costs
Mayor Chiaverotti asked for general concensus for building on existing site. The general
consensus was 7 in favor.
Next steps would be to see the design plans and check the ordinance.
Community Development (Parks)
Aster Hills Park - Request was approved unanimous.
Hwy OO Trail - Request was approved 6 to 1.
Martin Drive Design - Request was approved unanimous.
Woods Road Trail (School to Racine) - Request approved unanimous.
Tennis Courts will be moved to 2017.
Lions Park Pickle Ball - Request approved unanimous.
Park Arthur Fencing - Request approved unanimous.
Athletic Field (cost sharing with High School) place holder for future - Request approved
unanimous.
TCVFD
Mayor Chiaverotti stated that Fire Agreements will be put to council as these are contracted
services.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
ADJOURNMENT
Possible reconvening of the Committee of the Whole immediately following Common Council
Meeting of the same date to continue work on agenda items
Alderman Borgman made a motion to adjourn at 7:10 pm. Alderman Kubacki seconded,
motion passed 7 in favor.
