CALL TO ORDER
Mayer Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL
Present; Alderman Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki, Madden and
Mayor Chiaverotti.
Also present; Director Mueller and Director Muenkel.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Director Mueller stated the meeting was properly noticed.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Continuation of Capital Budget (if necessary)
Facilities
1.) New City Hall, remodel of Police Department, addition to DPW garage.
a. New cost proposal from John Sabinash, Zimmerman Architectual.
b. Attorney Larson opinion; separate the projects. Each project is a stand alone and each
is under $10 million. New language for ordinance in the future.
Alderman Kubacki suggested holding a public informational meeting. All in favor.
Straw Poll vote to create a Resolution to move forward with engineering and design for each
project; construct new City Hall, remodel current City Hall for the new Police Department and
DPW project (less cold storage). All in favor.
NEW BUSINESS
Mayor's Proposed Budget - Summary comments including the following:
1.) General Fund Revenue Budget
2.) General Fund Expenditure Budget
3.) Debt Service Fund Budgets
4.) Special Revenue Fund Budgets
Mayor Chiaverotti reviewed capital expenditure summary and comments.
Mayor Chiaverotti requested to move forward with the hiring of inhouse Attorney. All in favor.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
ADJOURNMENT
Possible reconvening of the Committee of the Whole immediately following Common Council
Meeting of the same date to continue work on agenda items
Alderman Borgman made a motion to adjourn at 6:43 pm. Alderman Wolfe seconded the
motion.
