Minutes of the Board of Review held on August 18, 1977.
Present were members, Raymond. Schw.a.lba.ch, Wayne Sorensen,
Wayne Radtke, Harold Dif:!kfuss .and Diane Skowronski. Also
present, City Assessor Paul DeAngelis, City Attorney John P.
Buckley and City Clerk J3. Bo~ry'E~r.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chajr. Radtke.
In accordance with 5.5. 70.48 (8) (e) a recording dEvice was
used to take testimoney. Attorney Buckley swore in the
appelant, James Dimond. Be it noted that Mr. Dimond appeared
in his own behalf, form of obj j~C tion eovering tax kE y 2286
969. Testimony was taken, under oath:. f:rom both Mr Dimond
and City Assessor relative to l'1r. Dimonds obj ection
Following deliberation of thj~ testimony taken, the 110ard
took the following action.
Re: Tax Key 2286.969, James Dimond, Raymond Schwa1">ach
moved, as seconded by Harold Diekfuss that the asse3sment
for 1977 be sustained. élS follows: Land '7,400 and I:aprove-
ments, 13,250 or a total of 20,650, motion carried.
ThE~ City Clerk present to the Board a form of objec :ion
to property assessment filed by Martin Heise in beh,Üf of
American College Building Group covering 2223.997 a:ld .998.
It was noted that the appeal ~~ras :Eiled relati.ve to tax
exempt status tmder S.S. 70.11, etc. Upon the advi~e of
legal counsel, the board was dire,:ted to acknowledge same
and indicate that it will become part of the records and
pl.aced on file.
There being no further busilless to come before the board,
a motion was made by H,aro1d Diekfuss, a,s seconded t y
Wayne Sorensen that the above will be placed on record per
legal counsel and motion carried.
