-1tinu1:es of the Board of Review held on 'October 11, 1978 with the follow-
ing Hoard Members present:, WaynE~ Radtke, Harold. Diekf .lSS, Diane
Skowronski, Wayne Sorensen and Denn:Ls Neubert. Also ?resent, City
Assessor Paul DeAngelis, Walter Tunler, Attorney John Buckley and
City Clerk Bowyer.
All 'testimony taken was recorded by a recording device.
May :it be noted that the form of objection,to property assessment
filed for tax key #2177.990 showed .9 total assE~ssed value of 12,550,
which was in error. The board then corrected it to read 16,350.
Both the appellant and the assessor were sworn in anè each presented
their testimony. Following di,sçuss ion Wayne 5orensor moved that
tax key 2177.990 be sust.9.ined in the~ amount of l6,35C for 1978,
motion seconded by Diane Skowronski and motion carried.
The :next form of objection was that concerning tax key 2163.057.
The appellant merely obj I~cted to thE~ assessment of tr e land because
of a drainage ditch located to the rear and objectiorable conditions
existing at a nearby city parle Mr. LaMa.cchia was a~ sured that
if the poor condition in the ditch actually existed the clerk would
request the public works department to view it" Thele was a difference
of opinion as to the condition ()f the ditch bec:ause the assessor stated
that he had been there just tha1~ morning and found it to be in a normal
state. Harold Diekfuss moved:, as secondE!d by Dennis Neubert, that
tax key 2163.057 assessment for the year 1978 be sUS1:ained in the
amount of 28,700 and motion carried.. .
Mr. Scott Krause appeared in behalf of tax key 2257.1193 and was duly
sworn in. Please be it noted that Hr. Krause placedllo value under
this tax key parcel because hE~ considered it all par': of all land and
improvements owned by the Muskego Lakes Corp., of wh:.ch contains the
Muskego Lakes Co. Club golf course, hmf.7ever he did S,IY that this parcel
was purchased separate for re.-asons of ingress and eg: ~ess on Hway 00.
Brie~fly, all parcels related 1tCi the~ op4aration of the country club was
mortgaged as part of an entirj~ pack.age and could not be sold off.
Following discussion the board took th~a following ac :ion. Wayne
Sore~nson moved, as seconded by Diarlie Skowronski that tax key 2257.993
be sustained in the amount of 33,950 fl:>r the year 19'8 and motion
carried.
There being no further busine,ss Dinne Skowronski mov ~d, as seconded
by Dennis Neubert that t:he Board of Re-view adj ourn. Said meeting
was adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
