BOARD OF REVIEW - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 30, 1980
The 1980 session of the Board of Review reconveneè at 6:40 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by City Clerk Charlotte Stewart.
Also present were Board Membters Dennis NeubE~rt, Jcyce Nay and
Gt~ra1d Tang, City AssE~ssor P.au1 DeAngelis and City Attorney
D.a1e Arenz. Absent were Harold Diekfuss and DianE Skowronski.
In. the absence of the Chairman of the Board, Harol d Diekfuss,
the Board elected Dennis Ne:ubert as Acting Chairm.sn.
The objection of Mr. David B,eierle, tax key number 2173.999.001,
w,as heard and recorded on e:1'E~c tronic recordi.ng eqt: ipment. A
motion was made by Gerald Tang re:que~sting the Board of Review
to reconvene any time after July 10, 1980, since that is the
d,ate by which the City must: appeal Be recent court decision per-
taining to Mr. Beier1E~ I s property' in ques ticm. SE conded by
DI~nnis Neubert, motion carried. It was agrE~ed by all parties
that if, by July 10, 1980, the Ci.ty had not filed an official
court appeal, Mr. BeiE:r1e' s 1980 assessment would be sustained.
The objection of Mr. Paul Schroeder, tax key numbEr 2208.056
W,9.S discussed at length and recorded on e1ec tronic recording
equipment. The Board's decision was to sustain tre original
assessment. The recording of the objection will remain on
file in the event that Mr. S,::hroE~der wishes to fur ther appeal
the assessment.
The obj ec tion of Mr. Hartin HeisE~ of the American College
Group, tax key number 2223..997 & 2223.998 WélS the final ob-
j lec tion scheduled to be heard. A1 though Mr. HeisE had been
notified of his scheduled hearing OIl June 18th, hE did not
appear to object to the assessment of his property. Therefore,
the Board sustained his objeetion.
The meeting recessed at 9: 4.0 p. m. and is schedu1ec to reconvene
on July 15, 1980 at 6: 30 p.m.,
