BOARD OF REVIEW
MINUTES OF MEETING HgLD SEPTEMBER 18, 1986
The meeting of the Board of Review of the City oj Muskego was
called to order at 6:30 P.M,. Present were Board Members Merton
Bowyer, Harold Diekf1.lss, Thomas Ralston and Paul Ussel (arr. at
6: 50 P.M.), Assessor Paul DE~AngE~lis, Craig Lake, City Clerk
Charlotte Stewart and City Atty. John Macy. Gen.ld Tang was
absent.
In the absence of Chairman Tang, Mr. Bowyer nominated Mr.
Ralston as Chairman. As tht:re ~vere no oth~=r nom:,nations, Mr.
Ralston was unanimously elected.
The Board heard the obj ection filed by Arl,:ne Kopshe, W148
S6596 Brookside Drive. Oaths were administered :0 Mitchel
Penovich and Paul DeAngelis. Sincf= Hrs. Kopshe 'las required to
be out of State, Ald. Penovich represented her ald read a
prepared statement. Exhibits No.1-Map, No. 2-P.ctures and No.
3-Written statement were presented. Mr. Ralston moved to deny
appeal. Seconded by Mr. Bowyer. Motion carried unanimously by
voice vote.
The Board heard the objection filed by Everett V. Eder. Jr., 570 W20002 Adrian Drive. The oath was administe~ed to Mr.
Eder. Atty. Macy noted that the objection form is submitted
was incomplete since no fair market value was in~luded. Mr.
Eder requested that $85,000 be allowed to be added to the
objection form. Chairman Ralston indicated appr)val and the
hearing was then allowed to proceed. Exhibits were
submitted. Mr. Ralston ~oved to deny appeal. Seconded by Mr.
Ussel. Motion in favor of denial carried unanim~usly by voice
vote.
The Board heard the objection filed by Golf Management, Inc.
5100 W14020 Loomis Rd. The oath was administered to Scott
Krause and Pepe Hurtado. Atty. Macy noted that the omission of
the fair market value on the ojjection form made it impossible
to continue with the hearing. Mr. Krause requested that
$1,000,000 be entered into the record as fair market value of
the properties, and Chairman Ralston indicated Epproval. The
objection then commenced by Scott Krause. Exhitit No.1, a
written statement from Mr. Krause was submitted for the file.
Mr. Ralston moved to deny the objection. Mr. UEsel seconded
the motion. Motion carried 3-1 with Diekfuss, Falston and
Ussel voting "yes" and Bow)Ter voting "no""
The 1986 Assessment Roll was closed upon the CLErk notifying
the objectors by mail.
Mr. Ralston moved to adjourn at 9:25 P.M.
motion carried.
