MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 6, 1989
The Board of Review of the City of MuskE!gO was cal: ed to order at
9:00 A.M. by Chairman Lynda Guhr. Also present wele Board
ME~mbers Merton Bowyer, Russl:!ll Ja.nkm.~ski., Alvin Baf se and Joseph
Flintrop, and Assessor Paul DeAngelis, City Clerk ~ean Marenda,
City Attorney John Macy and Objector James Parnau.
The City Clerk gave the oath to Mr. Parnau and AssEssor
DE~Ange li s .
Mr. Parnau presented the reasons \\Thy he felt the a~ sessment on
his property was too high and presented exhibits. Assessor Paul
DE~Angelis presented testimony to substantiate the "alues and
submitted one exhibit. All exhibits were submitte< to the Clerk
and made a part of the record.
Mr. Flintrop moved to deny the objection and accept the
Assessor's valuation of $136,700. Mr. Bowyer secoI.ded, motion
carried unanimously.
Assessor DeAngelis reported ~~at on June 30, 1989, Adrienne
Hanson of Adie' s Bayside Inn on Vi'oods Road brought in her
valuation of personal property. She advised that :he had not
received the notices sent with the March 1st submittal deadline
as she had not opened the mail which had been addrl~ssed to
Bayside Inn. The Board revie~'wed the matter and di]'ected the
Clerk to send a letter to Hs. Hanson stating that 1:he documents,
listing the value of her personal property, \i\7ere n~ceived and
placed on file, but due to the late fi ling o:E the documents. the
doomage will stand and the fact is that the Roll Wi.S closed as of
the Board of Review's meeting on June 26, 1989. MI. Hanson will
be advised to file in a timely fashion next year.
The Clerk presented Mr. Parnau with the Notice of ],oard of Review
Determination.
Mr. Basse moved to close thl2 Roll for 1989 and to .Ldjourn.
Bowyer seconded, motion carried unanimously.
