MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 191, 19195
The Board of Review of the Cijty of riluskego was called to order
by Chairman Lynda Guhr at 7:00 P.M. Also presønt weJ'e Board
Members Eugene Gaetzke, Thomas Kintis, and Henry Poshrig, City
Assessor Laura Mecha, CLT Representative Mark Link, (:ity
Attorney Rick Trindl, and Deputy City ClE!I:k Jill BleJlski. Board
Member Michael Hanrahan was absent.
The Deputy Clerk announced thø meeting was noticed ill accordance
with the Open Meeting Law.
City Attorney Trindl noted that the proceedings were being
recorded by court reporter, Gail Pruefert.
The Deputy Clerk called the case of Paul and BI3rtie Brauch to
hear their objections to 1994 assessments for Tax Ke~' Numbers
2171.997.002 and 2171.997.003 as rE~anded back to thE! Board of
Review by Circuit Court. The assessed valuation for Tax Key
Number 2171.997.002 is $35,000. Property owners' op..nion of
fair market value as stated on the objection form is $27,300.
The assessed valuation for Tax Key Number 2171.997.0113 is
$32,400. Property owners' opinion of fair market va:.ue as
stated on objection form is $21,700. The Deputy CleJ'k swore in
Paul Brauch, Laura Mecha, and Mark Link.
The Board heard the test.imony given by Mr. Brauch. "he Deputy
Clerk marked the documentation submittød by taxpayer as "Exhibit
1. " Based on the docume!ntation prE!Sen1ted,. Mr. Braud 1 stated
that his opinion of fair market value for Tax Key Nrn~er
2171.997.002 is now $28,500, and furthl3r stated his opinion of
fair market value for Tax Key Number 2171.997.003 is now
$25,,400.
The Board heard the testimony presented by Mark Link and
Assessor Laura Mecha. 'Jlhe Deputy Clerk marked the de )cumentation
submitted by the City as "City Exhibit 1."
Following opportunities by both parties 1:0 present t: leir

recess was taken prior to the Board deliberating.
The Board deliberated the obj,ec:tion for ~rax Key Numbnr
2171.997.002 first. The Board did not find that the taxpayer. provided sufficient evidence to support his opinion I)f fair
market value for this palrcel. Mr. Kin'tis moved to sllstain the
valuation of $35,000 as set ~y the City. Mr. Gaetzk.! seconded,
carried.

$32,.400 as set by the City. Mr. Posbr:Lg seconded, cilrried.
There being no further business: to comE~ before the Buard of
Review, Mr. Gaetzke moved to adjourn at 8:20 subject to the
Clerk complying with state stat.uteE:. l-1r. Kintis secunded,
carried.
