Board of Review Minutes - 8/24/2015 Audio on file for seven years. CITY OF MUSKEGO BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES August 24, 2015 5:00 PM Muskego City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue CALL TO ORDER Chairman Guhr called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. ROLL CALL The following Board of Review members were present: Gary Boisits, Lynda Guhr, Henry Posbrig, Tom Reck and Steve Roncke. City Attorney Eric Larson, Mark Link and Stewart Hamel from Tyler Technologies, and Deputy Clerk Jill Blenski were also present. STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. BUSINESS Hear Objections to Property Assessments It was noted that the objection filed for Muskego Properties, LLC was withdrawn. The Board heard the following objections: Jeffrey Weis Tax Key #2191.102 S77 W19942 Holly Patch Court CV Zillig Muskego LLC Tax Key #2162.997 S63 W13700 Janesville Road The Board deliberated the following objections: Jeffrey Weis (Tax Key #2191.102): Henry Posbrig moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation and to adopt the Findings of Fact, Determinations and Decision. Gary Boisits seconded; motion carried 5 in favor. CV Zillig Muskego LLC (Tax Key #2162.997): Tom Reck moved that the Assessor's valuation is incorrect and that the full value of the property is: Land $1,207,400 Improvement $1,909,400 Total $3,116,800 The level of assessment of the municipality is at 96%. The Board hereby sets the new assessment as: Land $1,207,400 Improvement $1,784,700 Total $2,992,100 Steve Roncke seconded; motion carried 5 in favor. Board of Review Minutes 2 August 24, 2015 Adjournment Gary Boisits made a motion that the Board of Review approve the 2015 Assessment Roll as presented by the Assessor and amended by the Board, and having performed all of its statutory duties and completed all of its work that came before the Board, the Board of Review adjourns sine die subject to the Clerk fulfilling the statutory duties.
