BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER
Vice-Chairman Gary Boisits called the meeting to order at 3:04 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Board Members Gary Boisits, Henry Posbrig and Mara Spring. Also present: City
Attorney Jeff Warchol, Deputy Clerk Jill Blenski and Assessor Stewart Hamel from Tyler
Technologies. Board Members Lynda Guhr and Jeremy Keil were absent.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.
BUSINESS
Review the 2017 Assessment Roll and Perform Statutory Duties
The Board went off the record to review the 2017 Assessment Roll. Following the review, the
Board went back on the record at 3:45 p.m.
Hearings and Decisions on Objections to Property Assessments
The Board heard the following objections:

Ms. Spring moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation. Mr. Posbrig seconded. Motion
carried 3 in favor.
Daniel and Samantha Fournier Tax Key No. 2212.997
W125 S8345 North Cape Road
Mr. Posbrig moved that the Assessor’s valuation is incorrect and that the value of the
property is:
Land $ 89,800
Improvements $ 45,200
Total $135,000
Ms. Spring seconded. Motion carried 3 in favor.
Nathan Rader Tax Key No. 2161.020
W124 S6516 Hawthorne Road
Mr. Boisits moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation. Ms. Spring seconded. Motion
carried 3 in favor.

Mr. Posbrig moved that the Assessor’s valuation is incorrect and that the value of the
property is:

Improvements $278,100
Total $409,600
Mr. Boisits seconded. Motion carried 3 in favor.

Ms. Spring made a motion to dismiss the objections submitted by Douglas and Irene Hart
and Eric Hart. Mr. Boisits seconded. Motion carried 3 in favor.
Consider Request for Waiver for Board of Review Hearing
The Assessor requested a Waiver for the following properties:
MRED-Cummings (Muskego) Associates, S79 W18907 Janesville Road, Tax Key No.
2225.987.001
Convenience Store Investments c/o Kwik Trip #664, S79 W18884 Janesville Road, Tax Key
No. 2192.975
Muskego Properties LLC, S74 W16857 Janesville Road, Tax Key No. 2199.999.063
Agent Chad Zeznanski (Wipfli LLP) represented the three properties. He did not appear before
the Board at the scheduled appointment time. Mr. Boisits made a motion to dismiss the
objections submitted by Mr. Zeznanski. Ms. Spring seconded. Motion carried 3 in favor.
Hear Any Other Motions and Waivers Authorized by Law
There were no other motions and waivers for the Board to consider.
Adjournment
Mr. Posbrig made a motion that the Board of Review approves the 2017 Assessment
Roll as presented by the Assessor and amended by the Board, and having performed all
of its statutory duties and completed all of its work that came before the Board, the
Board of Review adjourns sine die subject to the Clerk fulfilling the statutory duties.
Ms. Spring seconded. Motion carried 3 in favor.
Ms. Spring moved to adjourn at 6:37 p.m. Mr. Posbrig seconded; motion carried.
