CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 27, 1998
The Board of Review of the City of Muskego was called to order by City Clerk-
Treasurer Jean Marenda at 1:10 PM. Also present were Board Members Lynda Guhr,
Tom Kintis, Henry Posbrig and Collette Klenz, Atty. Eric Larson, representing the
Board, Assessor Mecha (arrived 1:30 PM), Mark Link and Steve Price from Cole Layer
Trumble (CLT) (arrived 2:30 PM).
Clerk-Treasurer Marenda stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open
meeting law on July 17, 1998.
Tom Kintis moved to nominate Linda Guhr as Chairman. Henry Posbrig seconded. As
there were no other nominations, a unanimous ballot was cast for Linda Guhr as
Chairman.
Chairman Guhr assumed the chair. Collette Klenz moved to nominate Tom Kintis as
Vice Chairman. Henry Posbrig seconded. As there were no other nominations , a
unanimous ballot was cast for Tom Kintis as Vice Chairman.
The following days and times for hearing objections were acknowledged by the Board:
Monday, July 27, 1998 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
6:00 PM
Tuesday, July 28, 1998 8:00 AM - Noon
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Wednesday, July 29, 1998 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Thursday, July 30, 1998 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Assessor Laura Mecha presented her Assessor’s Report. She reported farmland
values have been frozen at their 1996 level. The 1998 assessed values are:
$1,176,762,900 Real Estate; $15,837,310 Personal Property; Total 1998 Assessed
Value of $1,192,600,210.
Representatives of Cole Layer Trumble (CLT), Mark Link and Steve Price were
introduced. Mr. Link presented a description of a sample property record card and
provided information as to how to read the card.
The Board proceeded to review the Assessment Roll.

Ms. Klenz moved to adjourn to July 28, 1998 at 8:00 AM. Mr. Kintis seconded, motion
carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:24 PM.
