BIG MUSKEGO LAKE/BASS BAY PROTECTION & REHABILITATION DISTRICT
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman David
L. De Angelis. Also present were Commissioners D'Acquisto,
Suhr, Sanders, and Rasmussen, Deputy Commissioners Sorenson,
Schweitzer, Kreiser and Pilak, Grant Administrator Mark Paulat
and DNR representative Jim Jackley.
Mr. Jim Jackley reviewed with the committee the application
process for the Boating Facilities Grant. The Deputy
Commissioners would like to have the District apply for grant
funds from the Wisconsin Waterways Commission with the DNR
expected to fund the applicant's (District) share of the
project cost on a reimbursable basis. It was also noted that
the District will be requesting interim financing from the City
on an as -needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $53,500, with
the District fund balance being used first.
Deputy Commissioner discussed voucher approval for a motor and
accessories to be used for lake clean-up only on the District's
boat. Commissioner D'Acquisto moved to approve purchase for
$2,000.00 with money to be taken from District's contingency
fund. Seconded by Commissioner Rasmussen, motion carried
unanimously.
Commissioner D'Acquisto moved to adjourn at 7:25 P.M. Seconded
by Commissioner Suhr, motion carried unanimously.
