BMLCommM19950822BIG MUSKEGO LAKE/BASS BAY PROTECTION & REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 1995 �-- The meeting was called to order at 7:50 P.M. by Mayor De Angelis. Also present were Commissioners D'Acquisto, Misko, Patterson, Rasmussen, Salentine, Sanders, and Suhr, City Clerk Marenda, City Attorney Molter, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Deputy Commissioner Leonard Pilak, Grant Administrator Mark Paulat, and Jim Jackley of the DNR were also present. City Clerk reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. Commissioner Misko moved for approval of minutes of the August 8, 1995 special meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Rasmussen, motion carried. This special meeting was called to authorize an amendment to the contract with Rust for the Big Muskego Lake Hydraulic Analysis. Mr. Paulat stated that the amendment to the contract will include surveys of seven cross section points. The cost will not exceed $8,000. Commissioner Sanders asked if this was an acceptable cost factor. Mr. Paulat responded that the DNR stated it was good. This work is difficult to do at this time of year. Commissioner Sanders moved to approve amendment to contract with Rust for the Big Muskego Lake Hydraulic Analysis and to give the Mayor the authority to execute the amendment. Commissioner Salentine seconded, motion carried. Mayor De Angelis stated that Monday, August 28 is the district's annual meeting. Commissioner Rasmussen expressed concern about the impact of the draw down. Mayor stated that this would be discussed at the annual meeting. City Clerk Marenda reported that vouchers totaling $298.72 for various office expenses had been paid. The Clerk stated a voucher in the amount of $523.95 for B & K Sports required approval of the Board. Commissioner Suhr moved for approval of all vouchers. Commissioner Sanders seconded. Carried 7-0. Deputy Commissioner Pilak presented promotional t-shirts and sweatshirts that will be sold at the Muskego Community Festival and thereafter. There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner D'Acquisto moved to adjourn at 8:00 PM. Commissioner Salentine seconded, carried. Minutes taken and transcribed by Jill Blenski.
