BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 81 1995
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Mayor De
Angelis. Also present were Commissioners Misko, Patterson,
Rasmussen, Salentine, Sanders, and Suhr, City Clerk Marenda,
City Attorney Molter, Deputy Clerk Blenski, Deputy Commissioner
Leonard Pilak, and Mark Paulat. Commissioner D'Acquisto was
not present.
City Clerk reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance
with the Open Meeting Law.
Commissioner Patterson moved for approval of minutes of the
July 25, 1995 special meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Suhr,
motion carried.
This special meeting was held to review the bids for the Big
Muskego Lake Boat Ramp. One bid was received from Zaretzke
Marine Construction, Inc. in the amount of $66,456. Mr. Pilak
stated that the deputy commissioners would be meeting on
Wednesday, August 9. He believes the deputy commissioners will
choose to rebid to project. Since only one bid was received,
it cannot be determined if the price is good. Commissioner
Patterson moved to deny bid. Commissioner Sanders seconded,
carried.
Mark Paulat further stated that if the project is completed
after the draw down, the dewatering charges could be eliminated.
Mr. Paulat stated that the City will contact the DNR to request
an extension to complete the boat ramp. Progress on the parking
area should continue.
There being no further business to come before the Board,
Commissioner Patterson moved to adjourn at 7:40 PM.
Commissioner Sanders seconded, carried.
