BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF QUARTERLY MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 27, 1995
The meeting was called to order at 9:05 P.M. by Mayor De
Angelis. Also present were Commissioners D'Acquisto, Misko,
Rasmussen, Salentine, Sanders, and Suhr, City Clerk Marenda,
City Attorney Molter, Deputy Clerk Blenski and Mark Paulat.
Commissioner Patterson was not present.
City Clerk reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance
with the Open Meeting Law.
Commissioner D'Acquisto moved for approval of minutes of the
March 30, 1995 quarterly meeting. Seconded by Commissioner
Salentine, motion carried.
Mark Paulat appeared before the Commissioners to update them on
the various items on the agenda. He identified some of the
projects in the Priority Lakes Watershed Program to be taken out
of 1996 grant funds.
On the status of the Southeast Sewer Service Area, Mayor stated
the various projects in that area are moving ahead. There are
several resolutions on this evening's Council agenda regarding
the Boxhorn/Ryan/Groveway Sewer project.
Mr. Paulat reported on the status of the Lake Management
Plan. The proposed draw down is still on. Mark spoke about the
bids for the Hydraulic Study. Mayor stated this would be
addressed under New Business.
Commissioner Sanders moved for preparation of Request for
Proposal for concrete work to be completed for the boat launch.
Commissioner D'Acquisto seconded, carried.
The purchase of land from WEPCO for parking for the access has
been completed.
Under New Business, Mr. Paulat reviewed the three proposals
received for the Hydraulic Study. The study needs to be
completed before the draw down. Mr. Paulat, the Deputy
Commissioners and DNR staff reviewed the proposals. The
following bids were received: Rust $13,200, R. A. Smith $13,000
and HNTB $12,800. They are recommending Rust as the engineering
firm to complete the study. Commissioner Misko asked what
criteria was used to choose Rust. Mr. Paulat stated Rust was
the most qualified and experienced for this type of project.
Mayor De Angelis stated that they are familiar with our lakes as
they worked on storm water plan. Commissioner Sanders moved to
accept proposal of Rust to complete the Hydraulic Study
contingent upon funding. Commissioner Rasmussen seconded,

carried. Mr. Paulat stated that the study is included in the
Lake Planning Grant.
Judging for the logo contest will have to be completed by the
Deputy Commissioners at a later date. Several of the Deputy
Commissioners were present but could not stay for the meeting
due to the lateness of the hour.
The City Clerk reported vouchers totaling $108.83 for postage
have been paid.
Commissioner Suhr moved to approve the following vouchers:
Aerial/Wind Lake Properties $160.00
Postage 117.15
Salaries 215.02
95 Dues - Wis. Area Lakes 150.00
Total $642.17
Commissioner Salentine seconded. Carried 6-0.
Commissioner Misko moved to adjourn at 9:40 PM. Commissioner
D'Acquisto seconded, carried.
