BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 25, 1994
The meeting was called to order at 7:25 P.M. by Mayor De
Angelis. Also present were Commissioners D'Acquisto, Dumke,
Misko, Sanders, and Woodard, City Clerk Marenda, City Attorney
Donald Molter, Deputy City Clerk Blenski and Deputy Commissioner
Pilak.
Mayor reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance with
the Open Meeting Law on October 21.
Commissioner Misko moved for approval of the minutes of the
quarterly meeting held June 29, 1994 and the Special Meeting
held September 27, 1994. Commissioner D'Acquisto seconded,
carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Status of Priority Lakes Watershed Program. Deputy Commissioner
Pilak reported that the last meeting was held on September 29,
1994. Materials to educate and promote the program are being
created. A hotline is being proposed to assist in reporting and
solving problems.
Status of Southeast Sewer Service Area. Mayor reported that the
City recently received an updated time line for the project. It
is hoped that the approvals from MMSD and the DNR will be
received by the end of the year.
Status of Lake Management Plan. Deputy Commissioner Pilak
stated that a letter has been received from Wisconsin Electric
Power Company which contains their offer to sell a parcel of
property to the City for $1,000 to be used as additional parking
for the boat access site. The Deputy Commissioners have
approved. Mr. Pilak stated that the Board of Commissioners
approved the $1,000 cost for this acquisition at the Annual
Meeting held in August. This item was further discussed under
New Business.
Status of Public Boating Access
Commissioner Pilak stated that

Agreement with Wisconsin Electric Power Company for purchase of
property for additional parking for lake access. As discussed
earlier, WEPCO has agreed to sell the City of Muskego a parcel
of land, approximately one acre in size, for additional parking.
Mayor stated that this property will be owned by the City and

maintained by the Parks Department. The Parks and Recreation
Board will review the acquisition at their next meeting. The
Plan Commission will also make a recommendation regarding this
land acquisition at their next meeting. WEPCO will retain an
easement on the property to access its transmission line
facilities. Commissioner Misko expressed concern that WEPCO
give the City advance notification if the utility proposed to do
work at the site. Commissioner Dumke moved to recommend
purchase of land from WEPCO for $1,000 for additional parking
space for the lake access. Commissioner Sanders seconded.
Carried 5-0.
Commissioner D'Acquisto moved to approve the Agreement with
Conley, McDonald for 1994 audit services for $315. Misko
seconded. Carried 5-0.
Commissioner Misko moved for approval of payment of vouchers as
follows:
