BMLCommM19940321BIG MUSKEGO LAKE/BASS BAY PROTECTION & REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OF QUARTERLY MEETING HELD MARCH 21, 1994 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor De Angelis. Also present were Commissioners Patterson, Dumke, Misko, Sanders, Schneider, Taube(arr.7:10pm) and Woodard, City Clerk Marenda, Deputy Commissioners Pilak, Herda, Klenz, Kreiser and Sorenson. Patterson moved for approval of minutes of Special Meeting held 2/28/94. Schneider seconded, carried. OLD BUSINESS Status of land acquisition - Bass Bay Sportsmen's Club. Mayor reported not much change in last 3-4 weeks. Still working on finalizing the survey. Waiting for additional information from the title company. Status of transfer of Big Muskego Lake Dam. Mayor stated we are approximately three-quarters of way through the transfer process. Couple of items to be done before clear title obtained. Bill Sturtevant of the DNR is working with the title company. Mayor advised he is working with the county and Mr. �- Sturtevant working with people who have liens on their property. Status of Priority Lake Watershed Program. Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported in the past two months posters have been made on recycling drain oil and on pet waste. A demonstration project will be underway shortly. It is quite an extensive project and is being implemented now. Status of EPA Grant Deputy Pilak stated it is on hold. Nothing new to report. Status of Southeast Sewer Service Area. Mayor reported at the last Public Utilities Committee meeting review was made of the lift station going into Country Club Villages. Final design is moving ahead. Engineering of the Boxhorn-Ryan project is proceeding. Still some outstanding issues to be resolved with Mr. Krause before construction of the Hwy. 36 interceptor. Commissioner Dumke questioned if we were going ahead with the Boxhorn project with or without the Krause project. Mayor responded that is correct. NEW BUSINESS Review of Lake Management Plan. Mayor noted the plan would be reviewed at the Special Meeting immediately following this meeting. VOUCHER APPROVAL BIG MUSKEGO LAKE/BASS BAY PROTECTION PAGE 2 AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT March 21, 1994 r- Misko moved to approve vouchers totalling $334.39. Dumke seconded, carried 7-0.
