BMLCommM19920714BIG MUSKEGO LAKE/BASS BAY PROTECTION & REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OF QUARTERLY MEETING HELD JULY 14, 1992 The meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM by Mayor Salentine. Also present were Commissioners Dumke, Misko, Patterson, Sanders, Schneider, Simmons, and Taube, City Clerk Marenda, and Attorney Molter. Also present were Deputy Commissioners Pilak and Sorenson. Commissioner Patterson moved for approval of minutes of meeting held March 24, 1992. Commissioner Dumke seconded. Carried. Mayor reported on the status of the Priority Lake Designation Program, indicating that funds have been somewhat limited, with funds being available for demonstration projects and training. Mayor reported on the transfer of Big Muskego Lake Dam, stating that all property owners have signed the necessary documents. The City Engineers inspected the Dam and found the work inferior, which the DNR agreed to. The transfer is on hold until the restoration work is completed. The status of the southeast sewer service area was reviewed by the Mayor, noting that the facilities plan is near completion. Meeting will be held with MMSD regarding the sewer service district in the southeast quadrant of the City. The agreement for sewer service with Country Club Villages (Scott Krause) required that a preliminary plat be approved prior to proceeding with the design work for the sewer. The preliminary plat is being reviewed by the Plan Commission at this time. Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported that the carp removal agreement has been renewed with the DNR. Deputy Commissioner Pilak also reported that the Deputy Commissioners will meet prior to the annual meeting to propose a 1993 budget. He stated the Deputies are requesting that the annual meeting be noticed by individual mailing to all district property owners. The Commissioners expressed no objection to the request. Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported that the signs requested at the Public Safety Committee meeting had been received and he expressed thanks. The City Clerk reported that the following vouchers have been approved since the last meeting: $ 9.72 -- Salaries & Wages 53.04 -- Postage & Mailing 125.00 -- W.A.L.D.
