BMLCommM19900612BIG MUSKEGO/BASS BAY PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 12, 1990 The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Mayor Salentine. Also present were Commissioners Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, D. Sanders, H. Sanders, Simmons and Taube, City Clerk Marenda and Deputy Commissioners Pilak and Tobin. Commissioner Simmons moved for approval of minutes of March 27, 1990. Commissioner Hilt seconded, carried. Commissioner Dumke reported Emerald Park negotiations are in the final stages, and no further action until the contested case hearing is completed. Mayor advised the Facilities Plan for the area southeast of Big Muskego Lake is still in the approval process stage. Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported the DNR is in the process at this time of preparing the permit for signature for the carp removal netting. Commissioner Taube advised he spoke to the DNR regarding the drawdown and dredging request, and it is expected the DNR will deny the request. The Deputy Commissioners will contact them again. Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported considerable improvement of water quality of Bass Bay with the water clarity improving from 1 1/2 feet three years ago to 5 1/2-6 feet currently at the deepest spot of Bass Bay. Commissioner Dave Sanders moved to hold the annual meeting on Monday, August 20, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. with notification both through the newspaper and individual notification with information provided by the Deputy Commissioners. Commissioner Simmons seconded, carried. Clerk reported vouchers had been approved for Aud-Mar Supper Club in the amount of $158.20 for damage to fish netting operation and to the City of Muskego for $100.00 for 1990 computer usage.
