BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 27, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m. by Mayor
Salentine. Also present were Commissioners Hilt, Patterson, D.
Sanders, H. Sanders, Simmons, and Taube, City Attorney Molter,
City Clerk Marenda and Deputy Commissioners Proeber, Pilak,
Tobin, Reinke and McNutt.
Commissioner D. Sanders moved for approval of minutes of January
23, 1990. Commissioner Simmons seconded, carried.
Mayor reported negotiations were still proceeding on the Emerald
Park landfill. Mayor reported that SEWRPC has contacted our
engineer for more information regarding the Facilities Plan, but
no appovals have been received.
Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported a company has been hired for
carp removal and requested approval of $1,000.00 payment for
same. Commissioner Taube moved to approve. Commissioner Simmons
seconded, approved 6-0.
Deputy Commissioner McNutt reported that they have heard nothing
from the DNR regarding the draw -down and dredging request. The
City will send a letter asking for a prompt response.
It was noted that since the last meeting vouchers have been paid
in the amount of $15.00 for a credit on a lake charge, $100.00
1990 computer charge and $100.00 for WALD membership dues.
Commissioner Simmons moved to adjourn at 8:26 p.m. Commissioner
D. Sanders seconded, carried.
