BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 28, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at
7:40 P.M. Also present were Commissioners DeAngelis, Dumke,
Hilt, Taube and Tomczyk, City Clerk Stewart and Acting City Atty.
Macy. Patterson and Penovich were absent. Deputy Commissioners
present were Klenz, Proeber and Switala.
Commissioner Tomczyk moved for approval of minutes of previous
meeting. Commissioner Hilt seconded, carried.
Commissioner Taube moved, Commissioner Tomczyk seconded, for
approval of $100.00 expenditure for annual membership in
W.A.L.D., Wisconsin Association of Lake Districts. Carried.
Commissioner Dumke asked for status of lake access. Deputy
Commissioner Switala stated the issue was defeated at the annual
meeting, but it could be brought up at the next annual meeting.
If approved, we would proceed with selecting a site.
Commissioner Dumke asked if it were true that the DNR will
provide no weed control, fish, etc. Deputy Proeber stated that
is how we have been advised. There are other forms of government
which may do so, but probably not until we can prove the lake is
clearing up. He advised he would attend the W.A.L.D. convention
in March.
Commissioner Taube advised the Little Muskego Lake Assn. is
looking at an aeration program and they will meet with ar
representative of the company later this month. The Big Lake
Deputies were invited to attend.
Commissioner Hilt moved to adjourn at 7:43 P.M. Commissioner
Dumke seconded, carried.
