?MINUTES OF MEETING HELD 11/25/80
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Chairman Jerome Gottfried.
Also present were Commissioners Steinberg, Weed, Radtke, Van Lanen, Knudcer
Salentine and Dumke and City Clerk Stewart.
Chairman Gottfried advised the purpose of this meeting was to discuss
with the Deputy Commissioners the requests the district has received
for detachment from the district and to review the list of petitions
that were submitted.
Deputy Commissioner Ellery advised that he had not seen the list of
petitioners.
Commissioner Knudsen moved to refer the list of requests for detachment
from the district to the Deputy Commissioners along with the list of
property owners already detached. Seconded by C® .Van Lanen.
Commissioner Salentine suggested the commissioners make their recom-
mendation to the Board in 30 days. Mr. Ellery advised that he felt
that 30 days would not be ample time for his commissioners to make
a recommendation. He stated he felt they needed at least 60 days which
would be adequate. Commissioner Knudsen suggested 45 days. Chairman
Ellery advised that Aqua -Tech would have its study completed by
February 15, 1981 and that it was necessary to have 60 days to make
their recommendation. Ald. [Deed moved to amend Commissioner'Knudsen's
motion by adding that the Deputy Commissioners have 60 days to make their
recommendation on property owner's request to be detached from the
Big Muskego Lake -Bass Bay Protection and Rahbilitation District.
Seconded by Commissioner Knudsen. Upon a voice vote the motion to amend
carried. Upon a voice vote the Commissioner Knudsen's motion, as
amended, carried.
Comm. Weed moved to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Salentine.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
