MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 13, 1980
Chairman Gottfried called the meeting to order at 10:40 P.M. Also
present were Commissioners Dumke, Weed, Steinberg, Radtke, Van Lanen,
Knudsen and Salentine, and City Clerk Stewart.
Mayor Gottfried advised that it is necessary to approve a agreement
with an auditing firm to audit the accounts of the district. Ald.
Dumke moved to authorize the Chairman to execute and agreement with
the Auditing Firm of Conley, McDonald, Sprague & Associates to audit
the accounts of the Big Muskego Lake - Bass Bay Protection and Rehab-
ilitation District for the year ending 1979. Seconded by Ald. Weed
Upon a voice vote the motion carried.
Comm. Salentine moved to authorize an agreement with Dr. Blum of the
Biology Department of UWM for an algae study on Big Muskego Lake and
Bass Bay...State of Wisconsin - DNR - Inland Lake Renewal to pay 100%
of the cost. Seconded by Commissioner Knudsen. Motion carried.
Commissioner Radtke moved to approve Addendum II to the Feasibility
Study for the Big Lake being conducted by Acqua-Tech. Addendum II
would include chloride in the parameter list for inlake water
chemistry, Sec. D.1.a. and field filtering of samples for total
phosphorus analysis on groundwater well samples. Additional cost to
be $725.00. Motion seconded by Commissioner Dumke. Motion carried.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:55 P.M.
