BMLCommM19800408BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF BIG MUSKEGO LAKE - BASS BAY PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 8, 1980 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 9:34 P.M. Also present were Commissioners Dumke, Ford, Tomczyk, Pietruszynski, Weed, Van Lanen and Salentine, Clerk Bette Bowyer and Attorney Molter. Ctairmai Gottfried indicated to those present that the Office of Inland Lake Renewal had advised they felt the study of algae bloom on Big Muskego Lake was warranted. They therefore -contacted qualified people. and Dr. John Blum, Botony Professor at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, responded. He further indicated the State of Wisconsin would pay the entire cost of the study in the amount of $12,908.00. It was necessary, however, for the Board of Commissioners to approve the contract. Ald. Ford moved to approve said contract with Dr. John Blum. Seconded' by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a voice vote the motion carried. Following a short discussion regarding the dumping of sewage into Muskego's sewer system, Ald. Tomczyk moved to adjourn, Seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon a voice vote the motion carried.
