CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Chiaverotti called the quarterly meeting to order at 6:23 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki and
Madden. Also present: City Attorney Warchol and Deputy Clerk Blenski.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – May 28, 2019
Commissioner Kubacki moved to approve. Commissioner Kapusta seconded; motion
carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Deputy Commissioner’s Update - Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels, Plant
Growth, Fish and Wildlife
Chairperson Chiaverotti gave the following update:
On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, there will be a meeting with DNR staff regarding
Big Muskego Lake to discuss its current condition and evaluate future management
needs. Staff from wildlife management, fisheries management, lake biologists and
ecologists will be present. Two of the Deputy Commissioners will also be in attendance
(Larry Schweitzer and Leonard Pilak) as well as Conservation Coordinator/City
Forester Tom Zagar.
Election of Secretary and Treasurer
Commissioner Kubacki made a motion to elect Jill Blenski as Secretary and Sharon
Mueller as Treasurer for the Big Muskego Lake District. Commissioner Borgman
seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Madden moved to adjourn at 6:25 p.m. Commissioner Kubacki
seconded; motion carried.
