CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Engelhardt, Kubacki and Madden. Also
present: City Attorney Warchol, Finance and Administration Director Mueller, and Deputy
Commissioner Pilak. Commissioner Kapusta was absent.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Director Mueller stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING - January 24, 2017
Commissioner Madden made a motion to approve. Commissioner Kubacki
seconded; motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Deputy Commissioners' Update - Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels, Plant Growth,
Fish and Wildlife
Deputy Commissioner Pilak reported the following:
Water level is high.
Eagles are back as well as osprey. He also noted that pelicans were seen on Bass
Bay.
Dam is open.
Permits and contracts are set for aquatic plant control.
The high water causes the bogs to move. One was blocking the Durham boat launch
and was removed. Another was blocking the channel between Big Muskego and Bass
Bay.
Status of Big Muskego Lake Wildlife Area - Land Acquisition by DNR
Deputy Commissioner Pilak stated there was nothing new to report.

Commissioner Madden made a motion to adjourn at 6:58 p.m. Commissioner
Hammel seconded; motion carried.
