REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF QUARTERLY MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JANUARY 25, 2011
Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. Also present were
Commissioners Fiedler, Schaumberg, Soltysiak, Werner, Borgman and Harenda,
Conservation Coordinator Zagar and Director of Finance and Administration Mueller.
Commissioner Snead was absent. Deputy Commissioner Burmeister was also present.
Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Ms. Mueller stated the meeting was
noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law on January 21, 2011.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Borgman moved for approval of the January 11, 2011 minutes.
Commissioner Harenda seconded; motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Deputy Commissioners' Update -
Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels, Plant Growth, Fish and Wildlife
Deputy Commissioner Burmeister reported the following:
• The lake is in good shape. There is a lot of ice and no open water. The lake
appears to have sufficient oxygen. The fishing has been good as well. There are
more people on the lake because of jamborees and other activities. There have
been very little problems with litter. Traffic has been reasonable. There has been
no reoccurance of fires. Snow accumulation has been reasonable.
Status of Big Muskego Lake Wildlife Area Land Acquisition by DNR
• There was nothing new to report. Mr. Burmeister did note that the weed cutter
was sold.

seconded; motion carried.
