RESOLUTION #P.C. 048-2014
APPROVAL OF A BUILDING, SITE, AND OPERATION PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
TUDOR OAKS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY LOCATED IN THE
SW ¼ OF SECTION 12
(S77 W12929 MCSHANE DRIVE / TAX KEY NO. 2207.999.002)
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted on September 16, 2014 by Robert Snyder for an
amendment to the existing site approvals for Tudor Oaks Retirement Community to add
a dog park, said property is located at S77 W12929 McShane Drive (Tax Key No.
2207.999.002), and
WHEREAS, Said property is currently zoned PD-6, Tudor Oaks Planned Development
District, and current uses are permitted by right, and
WHEREAS, The dog park will be located in the south side of the property next to the
“man cave” building, and
WHEREAS, The dog park will include 6,000 square fee t of grassy area, a 16’ x 18’
concrete slab with an open-sided, shingle-roofed Ramada building on the slab, a 38’ x
4’ sidewalk , and a 4’ high chain link fence surrounding the dog park, and
WHEREAS, The dog park will be used by Tudor Oak’s residents only.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a building,
site and operation plan amendment, submitted by Robert Snyder, for Tudor Oaks
Retirement Community located at S77 W12929 McShane (Tax Key No. 2207.999.002).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspects of this plan shall be maintained in perpetuity unless
otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the app roval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal
action, or both.
