AWARD OF BID
Parks, Boulevards, Terraces and Facility Landscaping and Maintenance and Athletic
Field Renovation and Game Day Preparation
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Parks, Boulevards, Terraces and Facility
Landscaping and Maintenance and Athletic Field Renovation and Game Day Preparation and
the following bids were received:

Service 1 and Service 2 are for two years.
*Cost to be passed on to the baseball club that requests it on an as-needed basis.

WHEREAS, The Public Works and Development Director reviewed the bids and recommends
that the bid be accepted as submitted by Happy Mower in the amount of $204,960.00 with the
understanding that $2,200.00 will be passed on to the baseball club that requests it; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Happy Mower also submitted a bid of $165.00 per game for baseball
field preparation. This cost will be passed on to baseball groups, tournament organizers, etc.
who request the field preparation on an as-needed basis; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the bids and concurs with the
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the bid submitted by
Happy Mower in the amount of $204,960.00 with $2,200 being passed on to the baseball club
that requests the field renovation as well as the $165 per game being passed on to the baseball
club that requests it on an as-needed basis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are authorized to sign the
contract in the name of the City and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive
changes to the contract as may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is authorized to sign such substantive changes
made by the City Attorney.
