RESOLUTION #P.C. 142-2003
APPROVAL OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE RADISH PROPERTY LOCATED IN
THE SE ¼ OF SECTION 30 (TAX KEY NO. 2280.999.006 / S102 W20650 KELSEY DRIVE)
WHEREAS, On October 13, 2003 a site plan and construction information was submitted by
Steve Radish to construct a 2,268 square foot accessory structure at the property located at S102
W20650 Kelsey Drive, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RCE Residential Country Estate District, and where said
structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review per Section 4.05
(2) C.1, and
WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 6,684 square feet of
total square footage of accessory buildings, and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the
Zoning Code, and
WHEREAS, No outbuildings currently exist on the parcel,
WHEREAS, The structure is proposed to be constructed with steel siding and steel roof with two
foot eaves; and said proposal does not meet the Plan Commission’s standards for administrative
approval of residential accessory structures, as the wall and roof materials do not match the
materials used on the residence, and
WHEREAS, The colors are proposed to match the colors of the residence.
WHEREAS, The property is located in a primarily residential area.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves a 2,268 square foot
accessory structure for the Radish property at S102 W20650 Kelsey Drive in accordance to
Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.11 (2).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the
approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation
of legal action, or both.
