APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR
THE TUDOR OAKS PROPERTY LOCATED AT S77 W 12929 MC SHANE ROAD
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted to amend the existing building, site and operation plan
of the Tudor Oaks property located at ,577 W12929 Mc Shane Road, on July 23, 1998, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2/0PD, Suburban Residence District with a
Planned Development Overlay, and the existing operation conforms to all the requirements of said
zoning district, and
WHEREAS, The proposed amendment is to expand the existing facility with a 8,400
square foot wing addition off of the “G wing of the complex that serves as part of the skilled
nursing facility, the addition will contain 10 single unit rooms and 3 double unit rooms, and
WHERAS, The number of units already existing in the “G” will be reduced with interior
alterations creating more common space, there would be no increase in the density of the facility
and the addition would complement the existing facility, and
WHEREAS, This proposal represents a non-substantial change to the existing OPD.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an amended
building, site and operation plan for a 8,400 square foot wing addition to the “G” wing of the 0 complex that serves as part of the skilled nursing facility as shown on the plans submitted (dated
July 23, 1998) for the property located at S77 W12929 Mc Shane Road, the Tudor Oaks
Property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends to the Common
Council that the proposed addition does not constitute a substantial change to the existing
Planned Unit Development of Tudor Oaks and further recommends that the requirement for a
public hearing be waved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas building facades and
drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
