APPROVAL OF A TWO (2) LOT SKETCH LAND DIVISION FOR THE SCHAUMBERG
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NE % AND SW Vi OF SECTION 2 1
(TAX KEY NO. 2241.997)
WHEREAS, A sketch was submitted on June 23, 1998, for a two (2) lot land division in
the NE and SW Ws of Section 21, ofthe Schaumberg property, located at W181 S9102 Parker
Drive, and
WHEREAS, The proposed land division would create two (2) lots, with each a minimum
of 120,000 square feet, and
WHEREAS, Said property is zoned A, Agricultural and EA, Exclusive Agricultural and
the proposed land divisions would occur in the Agricultural zoned districts, requiring a minimum
lot size of 120,000 square feet and an average minimum width of 300 feet, and said lots appear to
meet said minimum zoning requirements, and
WHEREAS, The Land Use 2005 Plan depicts this area for Agricultural and rural
development, and
WHEREAS, Said parcels are not in the City’s sewer service area and will not access city e water, and
WHEREAS, Access to one parcel will be off Parker Drive and the other would be off an
easement from the parent parcel. and adjacent parcel.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve of a Certified
Survey Map being submitted creating a two (2) lot land division in the NE and SW Ws of Section
21 of the Schaumberg property subject to the delineation of any wetland and flood plain areas.
Wetlands to be delineated by the Army Corps, DNR or SEWEWC. Flood plain to be delineated
by a surveyor
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE, That approval is contingent upon petitioner swapping
property to the south with neighbor or obtaining a 99 year easement from neighbor
