RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE THE 6.27 ACRES AT THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT S73 W16663 JANESVILLE ROAD FROM B-2 TO B-2/0IP
WHEREAS, Plans for a public library for the City of Muskego was submitted by the
Durrant Group, Inc., at the property located along Janesville Road, between Parkland Drive and
Bellview Drive. and

WHEREAS, The City has purchased said lands for the location of a library, and
WHEREAS, Said property is zoned B-2, Local Service Center District, and said use is not
a permitted use, however, would be permitted subject to the rezoning of the property to B-2/0IP,
Local Service Center District with an Institutional and Public Service Overlay, and
WHEREAS, A petition from the City of Muskego Library Board has been submitted to
rezone the following described property located in the NW 1/4 of Section 10, Tax Key
#2198.979.001 be rezoned from B-2 Local Service Center to B-2/0IP Local Service Center with
an Institutional and Public Service overlay for the locating of the Muskego Public Library:
All that pm of the NW 'A of Section 10, T 5 N, R 20 E, in the City of Muskego, Waukesha County,
Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast Comer of said 'A Section; thence S 88 02 45 W along the South line
of said NW % Section, 666.93 feet; thence N 1 19 29 W, 10.08 feet to the place of beginning of
lands to be described; thence S 88 43 36 W, 327.20 feet; thence N 1 00 45 W, 730.27 feet to a point
on the South right-of-way line of Janesville Road (C.T.H. 'X"); thence N 55 48 08 E along said
right-of-way line 384.38 feet to a point; thence S 1 19 29 E, 939.32 feet to the place of beginning;
said lands containing 6.27 acres.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends approval of
rezoning of the above described property from B-2, Local Service Center District to B-2/0IP,
Local Service Center District with an Institutional and Public Service Overlay.
