APPROVAL OF TEMF’ORARY SIGNS AND STAND FOR SALE OF
FIREWORKS FOR LYNN SORCE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE
SENTRY PARKING LOT IN THE MUSKEG0 CENTER SHOPPING COMPLEX

WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Lynn Sorce to locate a temporary sales tent
and signs advertising the sale of fireworks, and
WHEREAS, Fireworks sales were operated at this location last year without any reported
problems except that temporary sales vendors were limited to one on site at any one time, and
WHEREAS, The dates and the hours of operation will be:
-June 21st through July 5th from 9:OO a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the request for a
temporary stand at the Sentry parking lot in the Muskego Center Shopping Complex for
fireworks sales for Lynn Source subject to the above conditions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That an electrical permit and inspection will be required
0 by the Building Inspection Department for the electricity hookup.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the fireworks sales may not start before June 21,
1998, but will be in operation no later than July 5, 1998.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a site plan be filed for Staff review and that proof
of sanitary facilities accommodations be provided.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That only one vendor will be allowed on site at any
one time per attached. That petitioner’s stand will be 20’ x 30’ with signs attached to the sides.

Sentry Foods Muskego gives permission to Lynn Sorce to operate a fireworks
stand (tent) in our parking lot kom June 21, 1998, through July 5, 1998. Lynn will
coordinate her set-up with Paul who is selling plants in our lot so that her set-up coincides
with him taking down his stand, so that there is only one vendor in operation at a time.
We expect that they will comply with all local and state ordinances. Thank you
