AMENDED
APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR
THE TECHNICOM COW PROPERTY LOCATED AT W219 S7884 CROWBAR ROAD
(NEXTEL COhfMLNICATIONS)
RESOLUTION #P.C. 071-98
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted for an amendment to the existing building, site and
operation plan of the Technicom Corp property at W219 S7884 Crowbar Road by Nextel
Communications on April 6, 1998, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RCE/OIP, Country Estates District with an
Institutional and Public Service Overlay, and the existing operation conforms to all the
requirements of said zoning district, and
WHEREAS, Currently on site there is a 440 foot guyed tower and two shelters (21’ X 30’
and a 14’ X 22’). and
WHEREAS, The petitioner proposes to attach an omni-whip antenna on the existing
guyed tower at a height of 300 feet and construct a 11’ X 20’ brick equipment shelter at the base
of the tower
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an amended
building, site and operation plan for an attachment of an omni-whip antenna on the existing guyed
tower at a height of 300 feet and construct a 1 I’ X 20’ brick equipment shelter at the base of the
tower at the property located at W219 S7884 Crowbar Road, for Nextel Communications. Prior
to issuance of building permit, submittal of drawings showing an accurate representation of
the existing installations and proposed placement of the antennae must be received.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas building facades and
drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
