APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE BULLDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN
FOR HORN BROS., INC., AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT W180 S7725 PIONEER
DRIVE
(HORN BROS.)
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted to amend the existing building, site and operation plan
of the Horn Bros., Inc., property at W180 S772S Pioneer Drive by Vandom, Ltd., on February
20, 1998, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned B-3, General Business, and the existing operation use
conforms to all the requirements of said zoning district however said building is a non-conforming
structure, and
WHEREAS, The plans indicate renovation to the existing porch, an extension of the porch
to the north for steps, placing a covered roof over the existing porch and stair extension, signage
being relocated to the front of the building and railings, and
WHERES, Said changes are occurring in the front of the building which is located within
the base setback area.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an amended
building, site and operation plan for the renovation of the existing porch, an extension of the
porch to the north for steps, placing a covered roof over the existing porch and stair extension,
signage being relocated to the front of the building, and the installation of railings subject to a
submittal and recording of a hold harmless agreement, and if applicable, a variance being granted
by the Board of Appeals for the property located at W 180 S7725 Pioneer Drive for Vandom, Ltd.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspects of this plan as they relate to building facades be maintained in
perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
