COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #140-2007
APPROVAL OF THE CITY'S CONTRIBUTION (37.75%) TOWARD THE
FINAL PAVING COST AT THE MUSKEGO HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC FACILITIES
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego and Muskego-Norway School District entered into
and Agreement in 2003 regarding cost sharing for the construction of athletic facilities
at Muskego High School; and
WHEREAS, The project included the paving of a parking lot at the athletic facilities,
which was not completed due to total project costs; and
WHEREAS, The School District desires to complete the paving of the parking lot and
has approached the City to share the cost for the project; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the proposal submitted by Wolf
Paving Company in the total estimated amount of $41 ,981.55 and has recommended
that the City's contribution toward the paving be the same as its share outlined in the
2003 Agreement (37.75%) or approximately $15,849; and
WHEREAS, The funding for the City's contribution will be taken from the 2007 Road
Improvement Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the City's contribution toward the final paving cost at the Muskego High School Athletic
Facilities, which is estimated to be $15,849.
