DATA PROCESSING SERVICES
PROPERTY TAX BILLING CONTRACT EXTENSION
BE IT RESOL VElD That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the attached
Waukesha County Data Processing Services Property Tax Billing Contract Extension
for a period commencing January 1, 2006 and expiring December 31, 2006.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is authorized to sign the Agreement in
the name of the City.

DATA PROCESSING SERVICES
PROPERTY TAX BILLING CONTRACT EXTENSION

This Agreement is entered into this
_
day of January, 2006, by and between Waukesha
County, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the County, located at 515 W. Moreland
Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188 and City of Muskego, hereinafter referred to as the Municipality, located
at W182S8200 Racine Ave., Muskego, WI 53150-0749.
By this agreement extension, the County proposes to provide data processing services to assist
the Municipal Assessors, Clerks and Treasurers (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Municipality")
in the preparation of notices of assessment, assessment rolls and tax bills, as further defined in Property
Tax Assessment and Billing Contract dated August 8, 2002 between Municipality and County.
The term of this agreement shall be extended for one (1) year commencing January 1,2006,
and expiring on December 31, 2006 and therefore data processing services shall be provided for taxes
of 2006 due in the subsequent year. The Municipality wilì be invoiced once per quarter. The terms
will be net 30 days.
The following rates will be charged for these services:

The above rates do not include the items identified in the paragraphs 0 (Page 2) and P (Page 3)
of the original contract. Additional costs for these items will be invoiced to the municipality by the
county or by the vendor providing the service at the time the cost is incurred.
ALSO, tax bill printing is currently included in the above rate. However, the County reserves the right
in the future to have tax bill printing costs invoiced directly to Municipality by the Vendor.
It is understood and agreed that the entire contract between the parties is contained herein, except for
those matters incorporated herein by reference, and that this agreement supercedes all oral and written
agreements and negotiations between the parties relating to the subject matter thereof.
NOTE: Additional services, described in Addendum A, are-,G~e nÐ included in this contract.

ADDENDUM "A"
The County further agrees to provide the following additional services at the rates set out
below:
Identification and coordination with a private vendor for printing and mailing services for the
final assessment roll and the following forms. Municipality will have the opti5m of contracting with
such vendor for printing and/or mailing. In the event that Municipality directly contracts with a
vendor, County will provide Municipality or the private vendor '',lith the ta record files needed to
print these forms, the file specifications, the county owned document te lates and approval
verification of the printed format. Where Municipality has directly con acted with a vendor,
Municipality will be invoiced from, and will pay to, the private vendo all setup and any other costs
incurred for the printing and mailing of these forms, including pa~e . supplies and postage. The
County agrees to work with private vendors to limit increases and ates charged by said vendors,
however, the County provides no guarantee in rates charged by .
