COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #198-2003
DETERMINATION OF SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE
TO THE QUIETWOOD CREEK PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, A sketch for a preliminary plat was submitted on August 21, 2003 by Carity
Land Corp. located in the SE 1/4 of Section 3; and
WHEREAS, Said plat proposes 19 two-family residential lots consistent with RSA
Attached Single Family Residential zoning and approximately five acres of commercial
property consistent with B-3 General Business District zoning; and
WHEREAS, Said request constitutes a change to the approved Quietwood Creek
Planned Development District which depicts 18.8 acres of land for commercial use with
B-2 Local Service Center zoning; and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission reviewed the request and determined that it did
constitute a substantial change to the original Planned Unit Development of Quietwood
Creek through the adoption of #P.C. 111-2003; and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission further determined that the proposed B-3 zoning is
too intensive for the property but was receptive to a Comprehensive Plan amendment
and official zoning map amendment to permit approximately five acres of land for
commercial use consistent with B-2 zoning regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Plan Commission, does hereby determine
that the petition submitted by Carity Land Corp. does constitute a substantial change to
the approved Quietwood Creek Planned Development District and does hereby
determine that a public hearing is required.
