RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO COMMON COUNCIL FINDING AND
DECLARING THAT THE REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.2 PROJECT AREA IS
A BLIGHTED AREA AND THAT SPECIFIED PARCELS WITHIN THE PROJECT
AREA ARE BLIGHTED PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, on the 12th of March, 2003, the City of Muskego Community Development
Authority duly designated and approved the boundaries of the Redevelopment District No.2
Project Area (the "Project Area"), the boundaries of which are legally described on the attached
Exhibit A, and also found and declared that the Project Area is a blighted area as defined in Wis.
Stat. S 66.1333(2m)(b), which is in need of a blight elimination, slum clearance and urban renewal
project, and that specific parcels of land within the Project Area are blighted properties as defined
in Wis. Stat. S 66.1333(2m )(bm); and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego Common Council has reviewed the Staff Report dated
March 6, 2003, describing the blighted conditions of the Project Area, and describing the blighted
conditions of specific properties within the Project Area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Muskego Common Council, as
follows:
1. That pursuant to Wis. Stat. S 66.1333(6)(b)1, the Common Council hereby finds and
declares that the Project Area is a blighted area as defined in Wis. Stat. S 66.1333(2m)(b) which is
in need of a blight elimination, slum clearance and urban renewal project; and
2. That the Common Council hereby finds and declares that the following parcels of
land within the Project Area are blighted properties as defined in Wis. Stat. S 66.1333(2m)(bm):
