Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed please find two copies of a proposed agreement to
Animal Welfare Society for the care of stray animals for
be entered into between your municipality and the Humane
the period commencing July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000.
We trust our services to your community over the past year
have been satisfactory. The Society continues to strive
towards locating owners for lost pets and homes for those
surrendered. A continual problem seems to arise with
stray cats in most Waukesha County municipalities. The
Society would like to urge those municipalities who have
not yet enacted animal at large ordinances which include
cats to do so. Fewer animal nuisance problems including, bites, overpopulation, health issues and automobile
accidents will arise through these companion pet
ordinances.
The Society is pleased to have been a part of your
municipalities animal control program over the past year.
We look forward to servicing the people and animals in
your community in the future.
Please retain one copy of the signed agreement for your
records and return the other signed copy. Should you have any questions with regard to the renewal of this
agreement, please feel free to contact our office.
Yours Truly,
Mark A. Hess
