CCR1998221AMENDED COMMON COUNCIL -CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #221-98 RESOLUTION TO INCLUDE DEMOLITION AND REMEDIATION EXPENSES IN A POSSIBLE TAX INCREMENTAL FINANCING DISTRICT FOR PARKLAND MALL WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has been approached by Parkland Ventures, Ltd., for approval of a Tax Incremental Financing District for the Parkland Mall property: and WHEREAS, the demolition and remediation expenses for the property have been requested to be included as a Tax Incremental Financing District eligible expense. WHEREAS, Demolition and Remediation expenses may be eligible for a potential Tax Incremental Financing Plan, if such a plan is approved by the City of Muskego's Plan Commission, Common Council and Joint Review Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the present intention of the Common Council of the City of Muskego to be amenable to the approval of the concept of the inclusion of Demolition and Remediation expenses in a Tax Incremental Financing plan to be reviewed and possibly approved by all required governmental bodies. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City reselves the right not to create a TIF or to create a TIF that does not include demolition and remediation expenses.
