RESOLUTION #52-98
APPROVAL OF CHANGE IN POLICE DEPARTMENTS
AUTHORIZED STRENGTH
WHEREAS, The approved 1998 budget included funds for a change in the
administrative staff: and
WHEREAS, The Chief of Police has asked for the creation of a Captain’s position and
the elimination of the Detective Sergeant’s position; and
WHEREAS, The Committee of the Whole has reviewed and recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon recommendation of the Committee of the Whole, does hereby authorize
the manpower strength of the Police Department as follows:
1 Chief of Police
1 Captain
2 Lieutenants
4 Patrol Sergeants
2 Detectives
22 Officers
I Administrative Assistant
4 Telecommunicators
4 Clerks
