CCR1998006AMENDED COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #6-98 PERSONNEL CODE FOR MANAGEMENT APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO AND OTHER NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval of an Amendment to the Personnel Code for Management and Other Nonrepresented Employees of the City of Muskego for the period January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1998 to establish biweekly rates for all employees currently with annual salaries effective January 1, 1998; and WHEREAS, Section 10.01 contained in Article X - Overtime is amended to read as follows: Lieutenants, Assistant Plan Director, and Accountant time and 10.01. For all employees other than Department Heads, one half (1 1/2) shall be paid for all hours worked outside of the employee's 40 hours per week, except that employees working on Sunday or a Holiday shall receive two (2) times their regular rate of pay in addition to their regular salary except for those employees whose regular scheduled work days fall on Sundays or holidays; and WHEREAS, Section 20.01 contained in Article XX - Layoff and Recall is amended to read as follows: 20.01. If a reduction in employee personnel becomes necessary be the first person laid off providing that the remaining the least senior employee in the affected classification shall work, in the sole determination of the Employer. Employees employees are capable and qualified to perform the remaining employee in a classification that they are immediately qualified reduced in this manner shall be permitted to bump a less senior to perform. Provided, however, employees holding a department head classficiation shall not be permitted to bump under any circumstances and will be laid off; and WHEREAS, the salary schedules effective January 1, 1998, which are part of the Personnel Code, have been amended to reflect biweekly rates and newly created or revised positions, and are attached to this resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby amend the Personnel Code For Management and Other Nonrepresented Employees of the City of Muskego for January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1998 as noted above.
