CCR1997281COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #281-97 e RESOLUTION TO RETAIN SPECIAL COUNSEL WHEREAS, The attorney representing Mr Lloyd Mclndoe has requested that citations issued to his client be reopened; and WHEREAS, The City's Attorneys, Arenz, Molter, Macy & Riffle, S.C. represented the City during the disposition of the original citations; and WHEREAS, This issue relates to the liquor license hearing in the matter of Revocation or Suspension of "Class B" Retailer's License for the Sale of Fermented Malt Beverages and Intoxicating Liquors of Alpine Lanes of Muskego, Inc. d/b/a Alpine Lanes, Lloyd S. Mclndoe, Registered Agent which has not been held; and WHEREAS, The City's Attorneys believe it is a conflict of interest for their firm to represent the Common Council at the liquor license hearing and continue to handle the matter of reopening the citations; and WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed this issue and recommends authorization to appoint Joseph Kershek as special counsel at an hourly rate of $100 to handle the reopening of said citations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize the appointment of Attorney Kershek as special counsel at an hourly rate of $100 to handle the reopening of said citations. a- DATED THIS 25th DAY NOVEMBER, 1997 SPONSORED BY: FINANCE COMMITTEE Ald.
